We are currently looking for a highly motivated, respectful, professional individual who can work efficiently without direct supervision to fill a Front Desk position at the Microtel Inn & Suites Clarksville TN. The candidate must be able to work morning (7am-3pm) or mid-day shift hours (3pm-11pm) and weekends, full/part-time hours available. Will need to be available on weekends and holidays.
Experience needed:
- A positive attitude, punctual, works well with others, and fast problem solver.
- Willing to learn and follow all hotel protocol, and keeps a neat, well-organized workspace.
- Has some computer knowledge and loves being around the general public.
Responsibilities:
- Proficiently learn and utilize hotel PMS system.
- Perform all check-in and check-out tasks.
- Manage online and phone reservations.
- Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
- Register guests collecting necessary information (like contact details and exact dates of their stay).
- Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms.
- Provide information about our hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
- Respond to guests’ complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy, and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs.
- Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers.
- Maintain updated records of bookings and payments.
Additional Skills:
- Work experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or similar role.
- Experience with hotel reservations software.
- Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking.com and Expedia.
- Customer service attitude.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
